Gretchen has been actively involved in politics since 2004 and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Contra Costa Republican Party as Secretary and Communications Chairman. This year Gretchen was named Volunteer of the year for the Contra Costa Republican Party for all her tireless work to get the Republican message heard. She also serves as 1^st Vice President and Newsletter Editor for East Contra Costa Republican Women Federated and has been elected to their 2008 Board as President. In 2007, Gretchen was appointed by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors to the Workforce Development Board and serves on the Business & Economic Development Committee. She also serves on the Independent Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committee for Measure C for Byron. 

 

Gretchen lives in Discovery Bay and is the proud mother of two sons, both of whom attend middle school and have developed an interest in history and politics. Gretchen is the President of a staffing company and has dedicated much of her free time to volunteer work within the community for the past 20 years.
