Central Committee

Central Committee Members are elected by Registered Republican Voters in Contra Costa County during the Primary Election and are organized following the County Supervisorial Districts.

The Central Committee plays an important, grass roots role in the political process.  It is the county-level leadership for the California Republican Party.   In addition, the Party's nominees for Congress, State Senate, and Assembly serve as ex-officio members.

Mission Statement of the Central Committee:  The Contra Costa Republican Party is dedicated to electing Republican officials at all levels of government, to increasing the awareness of Republican principles and the recruitment of volunteers.

Vision Statement of the Central Committee:  Increase the Republican registration and size of Party membership; inform Party members of candidates supported by the party through our newsletter, website, and Central Committee sponsored events; enlist volunteers for a precinct organization, letter to the editor program, and voter registration; raise the necessary funds through events, direct solicitation of donations, and direct mail to accomplish these goals. If you're not sure which district you are in, you can view the Map of the Supervisorial Districts.
